A USB Memory Stick Gives You Portable Data Storage

I remember the days when shopping for school supplies meant crayons, pencils, a ruler, and some loose-leaf paper, but it seems as though those days are long gone. Now my kids routinely come home with school supply lists that read like a page out of the latest high-tech catalog! I think it's safe to say that a USB memory stick is going to become as necessary for our kids as a three-ring binder was to us.

Our children's teachers want the kids to be able to tackle a wide array of computer projects at school and at home, using software ranging from Excel to Word to PowerPoint. But if they're working on a project, how do they cart the files back and forth from school to home? A USB memory stick is the perfect answer. It's relatively inexpensive, wonderfully portable, and can hold stunning amounts of data. My only challenge was figuring out how to choose the best thumb drive for the job. Compaq iPaq Pocket PC Advancement

You know that new hand held computer you just bought? The one you paid a couple hundred dollars for because it was the best one available? Well, the bad news is that in one year, and sometimes less, handhelds software will be archaic and obsolete. Do not get upset about it, though. That is just the way that technology works. It is always moving forward. Hewlett Packard knows this, as evident by its obsolete Compaq iPAQ Pocket PCs that they produce and manufacturer. Technology that is new today is old tomorrow.

Back in the day, the Compaq iPAQ Pocket PC 3835 was the ultimate in technology. It contained pc software that was similar to many applications running on desktop and laptop computers, but instead in a more portable device. The hand held device featured 64 MB RAM and 32 MB ROM, and featured a 240 x 320 color screen that was far superior to many other models of the time. It certainly was more than the Palm had to offer, but it only got better. More on Compaq iPaq Pocket PC Advancement
